Linn Energy reached out to qualified contractors seeking help with the new prototype for their field operation facilities in Elk City, Oklahoma and Borger, Texas at the same time. Both facilities needed to be completed from the ground up within six months, including ten acres of heavy traffic rock yards, a 10,000 square foot building with Class A offices completed, Security and Fire systems, secured fence areas, as well as large operation meeting access.
Although Linn Energy invited several qualified general contractors to compete for their business. Out of all bidders, with strong interviews concerning pricing, timely completion, quality of work, as well as organizational efforts, being the main focus. PCG became the builder of choice.
